Live from Peoria, Illinois, it’s Saturday Night Take-Out Dinner starring Wing Work with special guest star, Azadia Boyd.
Now please welcome, all the way from the Northwoods Mall, tonight’s host serving our take-out meal, Wing Work!
Here we are at the Northwoods Mall, which recently opened back up. Let’s go in and pick up tonight’s Saturday Night dinner!
I called the order in and I’m a little early, as I always am, so let’s take a look around in here.
Sadly Round 1 hasn’t opened back up, so we can’t get a beer while we kill time.
Insert your own marijuana lid joke here, especially if you grew up in the ‘70’s.
You know who makes fake money? Counterfeiters.
I’m having a Chad Wallace flashback looking at this bank of gumball machines!
Puppy Bouncy Balls is wrong on so many levels and it’s giving me the creeps, so let’s get away from it!
Here we are at the Northwoods Mall Food Court, let’s go pick up tonight’s dinner!
There’s the newest place for chicken wings in Peoria. I first heard about this place on WMBD news.
They’ve got a nice crowd of people here, let’s get in line.
This is the owner of Wing Work, Azadia Boyd. He said that business has been going great in spite of the pandemic. That’s great to hear!
And through the magic of these here interwebs, we’re back at the MBIP World Headquarters Kitchen and Tasting Area with this week’s take-out meal.
We’ll start the meal off with a gigaanzo 24 ounce can of Bud Light. Cheers!
We have three containers of food. We’ll open and sample them one at a time.
Container number one is Buffalo Chicken Nachos. I was concerned about how these would travel, but the chips are crispy, the chicken is spicy and tasty and the cheese sauce is rich, spicy and has a little bit of a kick to it!
This is a wonderful start to this Saturday Night Take-Out Dinner!
Container number two is the dish that is their signature side-dish, the Buffalo Chicken Fries.
They were a spicy and cheesy treat! Now on to the main course!
Container number three has the item that Wing Work is named after, chicken wings!
They have have a dozen different styles of sauces and rubs to choose from on the menu. I went with the Honey Habanero sauce and they look and smell fabulous.
Let’s dig in to this Saturday night treat!
Wow, these are tasty chicken wings!
It’s a tasty combination of sweet from the honey and there’s also heat that sneaks up on you! The heat doesn’t overpower the delicious flavor and the wings are plump and juicy.
This was a fantastic three-course dinner from Peoria’s newest Chicken Wing restaurant. Stop by and support this local business in the Northwoods Mall by treating yourself to a wonderful chicken wing dinner!
