Peoria Pizza Works is known for their delicious pizza and their live music events, but they also have some delicious specialty sandwiches on their menu. The signature specialty sandwich is called, “The Cable Car” and three years ago in April of 2017, I sampled that while witnessing some horrible and frightening dining habits from my friend, Terry Grawey.
Below are some photos from this day and a link to the entire original post!
Here we are at a legendary Peoria restaurant and live music venue: Peoria Pizza Works.
They’re known for their pizza and live music, but they also have an impressive selection of homemade sandwiches.
The signature is a roast beef sandwich called the Cable Car. It sounded intriguing so I ordered it.
I met my friend Terry Grawy there and this is his impression of sexual harassment in the office space. What a joker!
Terry is a Hypnohumorist and he was doing a show on that stage that week. Check out more information on Terry and his Hypnohumorist act here.
Speaking of a joker, Terry ordered a cheeseburger and proceeded to dump ketchup on it and then eat it with a knife and fork! It led me to thinking about this Seinfeld episode.
Here’s the sandwich of the week, the Cable Car from Peoria Pizza Works. It looks delicious!
This is a roast beef sandwich like no other roast beef sandwich you’ve ever had. There’s a generous portion of tender and tasty roast beef and added to that meaty base is green chilies, melted Monterey Jack cheese, 1000 island dressing, bacon and it’s housed between two toasted and buttery slices of Parmesan sourdough bread!
There’s so many flavors happening here and they all compliment each other in a tasty delight of a sandwich! It’s almost like a beefy smorgasbord between two slices of toasted buttered bread! This is a unique and delicious sandwich that can only be had at Peoria Pizza Works!
