Live from Peoria, Illinois, it’s Saturday Night Frozen Pizza starring this week’s host, me. Now let’s welcome me all the way from the MBIP World Headquarters Kitchen and Tasting Area on this quarantined Saturday night!
This week’s frozen pizza is a Classico Thin Crust Quattro Formaggi pizza pie. I thought it was kind of fancy that they use a foreign language within the title of the pizza. I went to Google and got the translation.
Quattro Formagi means four cheeses. I love cheese pizza and this has a quadruple amount to love. So far, so good!
There’s the pizza wrapped up and unwrapped. The square white cubes bother me a little bit. For some reason they’re making me think that the pizza is an infectious disease. I think I’ve been watching the news too much.
Let’s just put it in the 375 pre-heated oven and let it cook. The box says to let it cook for between seventeen to twenty minutes, but I like my frozen pizza well done, so I’m going to let it go for about twenty-five minutes.
To pass the time, here’s some pizza scenes from movies for you to enjoy!
This is Sean Penn and Ray Walston in a classic scene from one of my favorite movies, “Fast Times At Ridgemont High.” I love how Sean Penn looks like he’s going to cry as Ray Walston is passing out pizza to his classmates!
I’ve always loved the line: “A lovely cheese pizza, just for me.”
I had to include this scene from Mystic Pizza where the critic gives them a good rating. Okay, I think our pizza is about done, let’s check it out.
Yes, there it is, a lovely four cheese pizza, just for me!
It doesn’t look anything like the picture on the box and the white cheese cubes have turned black which is a little disturbing.
We’ll add some Cholula Hot Sauce and black pepper to the cheesy pie…
And then we’ll cut it up into four slices and let it cool. Hmmm, now what should we do while it cools?
Oh, I have an idea, we can drink a Bud Light tallboy! Cheers!
Okay, it’s cooled down, so let’s sample a slice of this week’s frozen pizza.
It tastes better than it looks, it’s not as good as the last two week’s pizzas, but it’s pretty good. In fact I ate the entire pizza as the night wore on and I continued drinking many more Bud Light tallboys.
This quarantine life isn’t horrible but I’m anxious for it to end. Till then stay safe everyone and stay six feet apart!
