Live, from Peoria, Illinois, it’s Saturday Night Frozen Pizza with your host, Schnuck’s Grocery Store and no special guest stars as I’m trying to stay six feet away from everyone.
Now please welcome this week’s host, Schnuck’s Grocery Store!
I told myself that when the first Coronavirus case hit here, I’d stop going out to do blog posts and that happened on Saturday. So, welcome to the MBIP Social Distancing Edition!
I’ve decided to limit my time outside to work and getting items I need at Walgreens and the grocery store and trying to stay away from people until this blows over. So until that time happens, I thought I’d try different frozen pizzas here at the MBIP World Headquarters every Saturday night till things get back to normal.
Okay, I’ve washed my hands, so let’s go Schnuck’s and stay six feet away from everyone!
It’s a little late, so there’s not many people in here and that’s good! Let’s take a look around in here.
There’s plenty of frozen food, but people have hoarded all the fresh meat, bread, toilet paper and paper towels.
What’s amazing to me is that no one appears to be hoarding liquor! That’s a good thing because there’s more for me!
There’s also plenty of beer, so I’m not going to panic yet!
This is interesting, there’s plenty of frozen pizza, but it looks like everyone has made a run on Butch’s Pizza! I got one of the last ones from the freezer!
Okay, here’s my. cart and I’ve got some hand soap, frozen pizzas, a twelve pack of beer, tea and wait…something’s missing…
Hello vodka!
You can’t go through a Pandemic without a giant jug of vodka! Okay, now we’re ready to check out of here before someone sneezes on me!
Okay, here we are back at MBIP World Headquarters and the Butch’s pizza pie is going into a pre-heated 400 degrees oven. It’s going to cook for about 20 minutes so we need something to pass the time till then…
Cheers!
Here’s a cooking tip for Butch’s Pizza, turn on the broiler for the last two minutes to get it extra crispy.
Okay, it’s ready to come out of the oven. I’ll add some hot sauce and pepper and cut it up into four slices. Then I’ll let it cool, I don’t like to eat red hot pizza. So till it cools down it’s a good excuse for…
Another beer! Cheers!
And now it’s time to eat pizza! If you’re going to be self-quarantined on a Saturday night, Butch’s Pizza is a good friend to have!
Be safe everyone and hopefully we’ll be back to normal soon!
