This week we’re going back in time to 2014 and the third week of our year-long journey of eating pizza every week for a year!
For the third week we stopped at a legendary pizza parlor, Peoria Pizza Works. Check out the photos below and the link to the original post.
Sherman, set the Pizzas Of Peoria Wayback Machine for February 18, 2014…
Here we are at the Peoria Pizza Works on a snowy night in the cold winter of 2014!
Diana was behind the bar that evening and here she is serving up an ice-cold bottle of Budweiser with a pretty smile.
Here’s a shot of the copper-topped bar in the Peoria Pizza Works.
Before you know it, Diana is serving up a hot and tasty pizza pie!
As you can see, they have a nice selection of hot sauces to spice up your pizza pie. I love it!
Believe it or not, this is a small pizza pie! I got the thin crust with hamburger and onions.
It was really good and even though it’s a thin crust, the dough wasn’t real cracker-crispy like most thin crust pizza, the dough is chewy and it adds a nice texture to the mix. It’s a tasty pizza, nice sauce and the toppings were really generous for a thin crust pizza.
