Okay, it’s a rehearsal day for the Marty Monologues, so here we go with another patent-pending Thursday Quickety-Blickety blog post.
Below are four pieces of art I’ve created for the show. They’re the title cards for each story I’m telling. They each represent my three fifteen minutes of fame and I’m really happy with them and I don’t really know why. But here they are.
This is the fun thing about producing a show. There’s all kinds of little things that need to be done and now and again something will make you feel really good and satisfied inside.
I guess that’s why I do this.
Thanks to any of you who are going to come to the show, without an audience it wouldn’t happen and these fleeting moments of fun, satisfaction and happiness wouldn’t be happening in my life, so I appreciate it more than you know.
Okay, I have to go rehearse now!
P.S. Tickets will be going on sale in about two weeks, the show date is Sunday, October 20th at the Apollo Theatre in Peoria. Then I’ll be doing another show at the Kraine Theater in New York City on Wednesday, October 23rd.
