It’s the age-old question: “What do you want to have for dinner tonight?”
And if it’s asked on Saturday night, it’s usually in this form: “Where do you want to go for dinner tonight?”
Since we’re starting a new spring/summer season here on MBIP, I thought I’d start a new series where I not only suggest a dining destination for your Saturday night dinner, I’ll put up some links from past MBIP posts with a photo of what I had for dinner there that evening.
I thought for the debut of this series I’d suggest one of my all-time favorite Saturday night dining spots in downtown Peoria: Jim’s Steak House.
Jim’s has been in business here in Peoria since 1960 and it’s not only famous for its delicious steak dinners but there’s also the dark and elegant atmosphere in the chandelier-lit dining room, they have one of the best bars in town with live piano music Wednesday through Saturday and while the restaurant and bar are dark and elegant, the staff and atmosphere are friendly and casual.
