We’re up to the third week eating our way through the McDonald’s menu to see what, if anything, is digestible on that fast food menu.
We’re starting off working our way through the breakfast menu and this week we’re eating the McGriddle family.
Since I started this three weeks ago, I’ve gotten some comments on facecrack about these McGriddle sandwiches and they’ve all been positive. Check out the screenshots below.
Well, let’s go see for ourselves as we begin week number three as MBIP eats McDonald’s!
Time to unpack this week’s bag from McDonald’s, here in the MBIP Worldwide Headquarters Kitchen and Food Tasting Area.
I’ve said this before, but I do like how the name of the sandwich is on the wrapper.
I like the way they’ve put the “M” on the sandwiches and I do have to say, they smell very tasty. It’s a sweet maple aroma!
The First Bites
The Sausage McGriddle: Okay, I have to admit this, I went into this thinking I would hate these sandwiches but after the first bite of the Sausage McGriddle, I have to tell you, this is a tasty breakfast sandwich! The griddle cakes that house the sandwich are soft and are maple infused. They’re kind of like a combination of a sweet pancake and a biscuit. They actually compliment the sausage and make it taste good!
The Sausage, Egg & Cheese McGriddle: The egg is kind of tasteless, but once again, the McGriddle cake brings out the sausage and cheese flavor and it’s a delicious sandwich!
The Bacon, Egg & Cheese McGriddle: This is equally tasty and I love the savory and sweet flavor of these sandwiches. These McGriddle cakes should be used on every sandwich at McDonalds! What a pleasant surprise!
This Week’s Digestible Rating (One Is Good, Four Is Bad, Zero Is Perfect.)
All three are not only digestible but tasty and delicious as well! Looks like Mark, Tom and Heather were right on the money! I’ll repeat Heather’s two word review: “Yum, McGriddle!”
