This is crazy, but this Tuesday marks the 48th anniversary of the death of Jimi Hendrix. Last night we had the Fifth Annual Amber Birthday Extravaganza Party at St. Ann’s Bowling Alley and it was a blast! You can read all about it and see the photos from that party tomorrow. I can’t believe it’s been five years of birthday party’s for Amber but here’s the proof, here’s a link to the first one back in 2014.
Tuesday we continue the 13 month chicken eating tour and for this week we’re joined by special guest star, Steve Tarter for a tasty chicken dinner at Harold’s Chicken on Main Street.
Wednesday will be a night that details my night at a strange motel here in Peoria. It hasn’t happened yet and I’m already filled with equal parts dread and excitement over it!
Thursday we’ll feature yet another random Peorian in our People of Peoria series and I have no idea who or where I’m going to find this person.
Friday we’ll be visiting Jan’s Tap which recently had their 30th anniversary and I’ll be taking a present for Jan and have the MBIP Thirsty-Third Friday celebration at that local watering hole.
Saturday will be the final update for The Marty Monologues as the show will happen a week from next Sunday. Yikes, I better go rehearse for that! Have a funtastic Sunday and we’ll see you all tomorrow!
