I have to go to an out of town wedding today so today’s Saturday Suggestions post is going to be a little different and shorter than usual. Keilah Keiser stumbled upon the MBIP blog and she thought I might be interested in a visual infographic tour across America via six literary novels that she designed and put together.
This is the map for Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and here is the link for the entire post.
The other road trips on her blog post are for the novels, On the Road by Jack Kerouac, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M. Pirsig, The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test by Tom Wolfe, The Lost Continent by Bill Bryson and The Cruise of the Rolling Junk by F. Scott Fitzgerald
Keilah has a detailed synopsis of each novel in addition to a colorful and fun infographic iconic map which will lead you to all of the stops on each book’s road trip. Fantastic work, Keilah and thanks for sending it to MBIP!
Okay, I’m off for my wedding road trip to Lauren Rainson’s wedding in Champaign, Illinois! You can read all about that and see photos on Monday!
