Okay, it’s time to wrap up the MBIP Seven Months of Steak Tour and we’re literally going to wrap it up. One thing I discovered on this food tour is that Steak-umm is really a tasty frozen steak treat that you can cook up in minutes. I was forced to cook up a steak sandwich at the last minute on week number twelve and I got a box of Steak-umm to make the sandwich. I had never tried Steak-umm before and was kind of doing it as a goof. Well I was pleasantly surprised at the outcome, those frozen steak sheets made an incredibly tasty sandwich and I was hooked!
I thought to wrap up this tour, I’d whip up a new Steak-umm wrap recipe to share with all of you, so let’s get wrapping!
The Presidentail Mean Mr. Mustard Steak-umm Cheesy Wrap
This is a simple recipe for a tasty wrap, all you need are four ingredients: Azteca flour tortillas, President Pub Cheese, Colman’s Mustard and of course the heart and soul of this wrap, Steak-umm sliced steaks.
The first step is to warm up the Azteca tortilla on medium heat for a couple of minutes and then let it sit on the MBIP plate.
Next up is the main and most tasty ingredient, the Steak-umm sliced steak. I’m always amazed at how fast these frozen steak sheets turn into tasty steak. I cooked up the whole box and then added a generous sprinkling of black pepper.
It’s time to add the President Pub Cheese. And just like the current “President,” it’s orange. That’s all I’m going to say about that, I don’t want to get into any more trouble with Don P. Lewis (inside joke alert!) This is cheddar and jalapeño cheese, so it’ll add a richness and a little kick to the steak wrap. I put in half of the carton and melted it in with the Steak-umm slices and it’s really starting to smell great!
Now to add a little more zip to this wrap, we’ll toss in about a half a bottle of Colman’s Mustard. I mixed it all together and took a taste and this is so delicious and the whole thing was made in under five minutes. Take that Rachel Ray!
