So yesterday I had another flare-up with my spider leg and this time my foot was so swollen I couldn't get a shoe on and had to go to the doctor's office with one shoe on my right foot and just a sock on my left foot. I went back and saw both Lauren Petoskey and Dr. Chambers-Damm at OSF Health Care and they got me in for an Ultra Sound test at OSF. The good news is that there's no blood clots and the even better news is that Lauren was able to get me in this morning to the Peoria Surgical Group to get the abscess on my leg drained. According to the Ultra Sound, there's a big ball of pus under there, so that should be interesting! And it'll also be a huge relief to get it cleaned out! Big thanks to Lauren for getting that set up so quickly!

I have to run...well, limp over there soon, so today's post will go up tomorrow. I never thought I'd be so excited to have my leg drained, but it feels like I'm a five-year-old on Christmas morning! We'll see you tomorrow!
