One of my favorite movies is, Cool Hand Luke, starring Paul Newman and an incredible cast of actors including George Kennedy, Strother Martin, Harry Dean Stanton and Dennis Hopper. In addition to being one of my favorite movies, it’s also one of my favorite books which I recently re-read. The book is written by Donn Pearce and he’s an interesting character, so I thought today I’d put up a half a dozen links about Cool Hand Luke, the novel and then of course there’s the MBIP Coming Attractions for next week! There is no failure to communicate here at MBIP!

Tomorrow I’ve got pictures from the Heart of Illinois Fair. There’s photos of rides, games, corn dogs, the beer tent and I discovered a “Marty’s Concession Stand” at Expo Gardens and there’s a picture of me and Marty, the owner! Tuesday we start the ten weeks of ice cream food tour and I’m starting it at a special place! Tune in to find out where this place is at! I’m not sure what I’m putting up here on Wednesday but on Thursday I’m going to Trefzger’s Bakery to try a new item they have there. I have an idea for Friday, but I’m still waiting to talk with someone about it, so we’ll see what happens as the week unfolds! Okay, I have to go work on all of that and figure out something for Wednesday, so I have to get busy! Have a fun Sunday and all that jazz and we’ll see you all tomorrow!
