Last week I put up links to The Beatles album, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart’s Club Band. That album is probably the most famous of all of The Beatles albums. But the most infamous cover they ever put out was the original cover to Yesterday and Today. The original cover for that album had The Beatles in butcher smocks with meat and cut up baby dolls strewn on and around them. When it came out it caused immediate outrage and the album was sent back and given a more tame photo of The Beatles siting in and around a large trunk. Some of the original albums were sold however and they are now collector’s items. Last week, my friends Amber and Joe gave me a creepy doll head which I love and Joe suggested I put it next to my Beatles Butcher album cover and that’s where it is. There it is pictured below.
It got me thinking about that cover and of course I fell down the internet rabbit hole reading about it online. Below are a half a dozen links about The Beatles most controversial album cover and then there’s the coming attractions for next week.

Last night I went to Agatucci’s and had a cheese pizza and the most exciting part of the evening was that they got inducted into the “MBIP Twelve-Timers Club!” What’s the MBIP Twelve-Timers Club? Well, tune in tomorrow and you’ll find out! On Tuesday we continue onwards and upwards with the year-long sandwich tour. It’s week number 49, we’re just about through with this one! Today is the last day of operation for Wee Tee Golf Center and I’m going out to take photos of the last day at Wee Tee and I’ll be putting those up on Wednesday. Thursday we’re finally going to have our winner luncheon and shopping spree from this post and as usual I have no idea about what I’m going to put up on Friday. Let me go think about that and I hope you all have a wonderful and funderful Sunday. We’ll see you all tomorrow!
