One of my all time favorite movies is, Goodfellas. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen it and I always enjoy watching it again. Below are four videos about the film and below that some links to three Goodfellas cartoon parodies. Watch the videos and then go get your shinebox!
This is the Siskel and Ebert review of Goodfellas and they both agree that this is a fantastic film. They were right that Lorraine Bracco got overlooked, but it did lead to a nice part for years on The Sopranos! Bada bing!
This is a great documentary about the making of Goodfellas. All the actors talk about the film and it also has comments from director Martin Scorsese and Nicholas Pileggi who wrote the book that the film was based on.
This is a 25th reunion of the cast on The Today Show. Interesting to hear their memories of the film over two decades after they made it.Two things that are interesting are that it didn’t test well in the movie and that Paul Sorvino almost walked away from his role.
