Last week (on January 24th) was John Belushi’s birthday. The comedic actor/musician would’ve been 68 if he had lived...but noooo, he died way back in 1982. I always enjoyed his work and so in honor of his birth date, here’s a half a dozen John Belushi links for your clicking pleasure. And below that are some coming attractions for next week here on MBIP!

Coming up tomorrow you can see my Saturday Night dinner from the bar at 2Chez. I’ve never done a blog from 2Chez and the bar there is really cool plus the food was delicious! On Tuesday it’s week number 33 in our year-long sandwich tour and we’re taking the first road trip of 2017. Tune in and see where our travels lead us to and what kind of sandwich we got there! Wednesday I’m doing a Shop Hop at Modern TV, a store that sells and repairs TV sets and it’s been in business in the same location since 1968! Thursday I’m going to show you the best place to go to for snacks for your Stupor Bowl party next Sunday and then on Friday we’ll be hitting one of the oldest taverns in Peoria, Illinois! And i’ll have some vintage photos of it as well, supplied by the former owner’s grandson! So stay tuned for all of that and now have yourself a lovely little Sunday afternoon and evening and we’ll see you all tomorrow!
