Okay, the holiday season is here. It’s funny, I’m not a big fan of Christmas and New Year’s Eve, but I do like the fact that it kind of forces you to hang out with people and be sociable. In fact the rest of the week is filled with holiday meetings and greetings with people and photos will be put up on the blog starting tomorrow and will carry on through next Monday. Then I’m taking a break for a little over a week and I’ll write more about that later. Right now I have to start getting ready for these holiday get-togethers and parties and that can mean only one thing: MBIP HOLIDAY NOSE-HAIR TRIMMING PARTY!
This nose-hair trimming is going to take place in the bathroom of the MBIP World Headquarters. It’s right down the hallway here, just past the upside down picture of Joan Jett and here we are at the bathroom sink. This is exciting already, huh? Well hang on to your ankle bracelets because it’s all uphill from here...or something like that.
Here I am in the bathroom taking an obligatory mirror shot...but wait a second, something’s wrong...this is a holiday post, what the fuck am I thinking?
There, that’s better! Ho ho ho!
And here on the sink is my brand new nose hair trimmer that I just got in the mail! It’s a 3 in 1 Nose Hair Trimmer. It not only trims the nose hair, also eyebrows and ear hair. Yes, ear hair, I’m praying that hasn't happened to me yet, but we’ll see, right now, let’s keep moving along here and keep this party moving!
As you can see it comes with a whole set of directions...
But I don’t take direction very well, so it ends up in the trash with my empty jug of tea from yesterday morning. Yeah, I drink a jug of that every morning...you got a problem with that? Good, I didn’t think so!
In addition to the directions, there’s all kinds of attachments and parts that I’m not sure how to use because I threw the directions away, so we’ll just put them to the side.
This is all we need, the basic nose-hair trimmer. I like the looks of this one, it’s smooth, sleek and I think it will be pleasurable to my nostrils! Speaking of nostrils...
Here they are. As I noted a couple years ago, one of the more horrific things about getting older is grey nose hairs. It’s not quite as bad in this photo, but if you’re looking up at me and I haven’t trimmed my nose hair, it kind of looks like my nose has a bunch of boogers in it. And I really try to maintain a clean and booger free nose. I spend a lot of time on this, only to be thwarted by my aging nose hair. Since I’ll be seeing a lot of people in the next five days, it’s important to get my nostrils up to sniff...I mean snuff. So let’s trim away!
Wow, I can highly recommend this nose-hair trimmer! It doesn’t pull on the nostril hair at all and it’s got a nice massaging feel to it as it’s inside of the nostril area. The inside of your nose rarely gets massaged very often and I’m here to tell you that it’s a very good feeling!
Look, no more grey nose hair! I wish the same could be said for my beard, but what are you going to do? Anyway, the inside of my nose is smooth as a freshly polished cue ball and I can let the holiday season begin...oh wait, this is a 3 in 1 trimmer, there’s still a little work to do here...
I’ll trim my eyebrows a little bit. This is another area where guys sometimes ignore, but a healthy eyebrow maintenance is very important so you don’t look like a total goon. My dad taught me how to pluck my eyebrows when I was just 12-years-old and a mono-brow was starting to sprout in between my two eyebrows. It’s a practice I’ve been vigilant at ever since! A mono-brow is nothing to laugh about!
Luckily, even though my nose hair is grey and my eyebrows constantly need trimming, my ears are pretty much hair-free! Now if only I wasn’t half deaf, I’d be really happy with these things! Huh?
Well, looks like I’m all ready for my holiday parties! I’m not happy my neck is getting kind of weird, but what are you going to do? Check out the MBIP holiday posts in the next few days, I’m even having rare weekend posts and pictures, so stay tuned for all of that! We’ll see you all tomorrow!
