Three important things happen at the beginning of summer: Emack & Bolio’s opens up on the riverfront, Lou’s Drive-In is open for business and Vanna Whitewall puts on her bikini. I’ll be stopping in at Emack’s and Lou’s real soon, so stay tuned for that. But today we’re going to go ogle Vanna in her bikini. Let’s hit the road to Vannaville!
Here we are at Plaza Tire and this sign is the only thing bigger than Vanna Whitewall on the block. I think it’s 79 feet high, which is the condition I was in throughout most of the ‘70’s. Back then I would just drop in now and again to see what condition my condition was in.
This is the Plaza Tire building.
If you need a job and would like to work with Vanna Whitewall, applications are being accepted. Maybe you can get a job shining her shoes.
The ADM plant is located directly behind Plaza Tire.
It used to be the Hiram Walker building and I plan on doing a blog on this called, “This Used To Be Hiram Walker’s.” Stay tuned for that!
Check out the fancy-ass tire rims inside...and look at that reflection, it reminds me of why we came here. We came here to see...
Vanna Whitewall in her bikini! And here she is in all her amazon woman glory. Hey, I just realized she doesn’t have a belly button. That’s kind of sad, she doesn’t get the fun of playing with her belly button lint, a favorite hobby of mine!
Wow, look at those big footsies!
I thought I’d give Vanna a foot massage. All of a sudden I’m thinking about a scene from “Pulp Fiction.”
The other side of Vanna Whitewall. Check out that tattoo...
It's a tattoo of herself and the company logo, it almost makes up for the fact that she doesn't have a belly button, but not really. But what are you going to do? Yes, I'm obsessed over this lack of a bellybutton and it will haunt me all day!
Great to see you Vanna, so glad summer’s here and you’re decked out in your bikini! Looking good!
You can read more about Vanna online, right here.
This has nothing to do with anything, but these two stickmen have a truck and...they sell boxes! And...they care! So incredibly happy for them and all that they do!
Cheers from Vanna and I! We’ll see you all tomorrow!
