Live from Peoria, Illinois, it’s Saturday Night Cheeseburger, starring this week’s hosts, Michelle and Todd, a calvalcade of special guest stars and featuring the Ready For Prime Beef Player, Marty Wombacher. And now, directly from Sunset Hills Subdivision, please welcome tonight’s hosts, Todd and Michelle!
Okay, we have arrived at the address—the house looks cool and the patio area is directly in front of us, so let’s make tracks and get this party on the patio started!
Alright, there’s one half of tonight’s hosting duo, Todd! Great to see him and let’s go inside and take a look around.
Wow, the patio looks nice and a few other guests have arrived.
Check out the professeional industrial grill! Very impressive and standing tall next to the grill is the most important thing out here...
The patio beer fridge! And check it out, Todd said he and Michelle wanted to buy me a couple of beers for the party and they didn’t skimp, they got me 40 ouncers! And Todd serves it up with an MBIP middle finger salute! Nice!
Cheers! This party is off to a great start already!
And here’s Michelle, the other half of tonight’s hosting duo looking pretty as always! Hey, Blondie!
There’s legendary West Peorian, Bad Brad who’s in charge of the fire. It’s like 85 degrees out here, 170 percent humidity, so what better weather for a fire? Flame on!
Scott and Jeff are hanging out near the fire and Jeff is sampling a shish-ka-bob hot off the grill. Love his Blackhawks shirt. They won Saturday and tonight could be a big night! Go Hawks!
Hey, hey, it’s The Besties! Michelle’s with her besty, Kyle who bartends at Champs West. I’ve known Kyle for over a year and he’s probably served me hundreds of beers, but at first I couldn’t remember who he was because he didn’t have a bar in front of him. I’m so retarded sometimes!
Here’s another shot of a different angle of the house. Michelle and Todd have done a great job of fixing it up. Todd told me it was pretty much of a wreck when they bought it and they’ve been working on it over a year now!
Todd has a landscaping business called Habitat Landscaping and Stone Works, Inc. and that’s one of the companies vehicles in the driveway. You can check out the Habitat facecrack page right here.
Here’s the front of the house. There’s still work to be done here, but let’s go inside...
And check out the kitchen they remodeled, wowzers, this looks great!
Todd and Michelle have three dogs, these two are Zoe and Chloe and they’re great pooches! And Chloe has the demon eyes going on! Always love that!
This is the third dog in the household, Peeta. Peeta’s a little camera shy and kept ducking the MBIP camera, but I did manage to catch him in the shadows at the top of the stairs with his eyes beaming at me. There’s a better photo of Peeta below in the bonus photos at the bottom of the post. Keep on scrolling!
There’s a little party going on here in the front room. I love the wooden floor in here!
PJ is still in town and was hanging out on the couch looking great as always! She currently lives in Salt Water Taffy but is moving back to P-town soon, which is great news!
I haven’t been eating cheeseburgers on my Saturday Night Cheeseburger outings because I’ve kind of eaten every cheeseburger in town, but tonight we can go back to the original food theme as Todd made me up a special cheeseburger tonight! Michelle just put it on the grill...
Holy fucking moley, check it out! Todd told me it’s a half pound burger loaded with spices and various other ingredients. I’m starvin’ like old Marvin already!
Here’s Todd getting some shish-ka-bobs ready for the grill...
Okay, while the food is cooking, let’s go take a look around and mingle with some of the other guests here at the party.
I love the brick archway at the entrance to the patio. Todd told me when he was putting it up, it fell twice and he had to start all over. I guess the third time really is charmed after all!
Erika was hanging out near the archway looking great and here she is flashing a great beautiful smile for the MBIP camera! Erika bartends at Champs West and she’s also involved with the Relay for Life event that’s happening next Saturday, June 20th. You can read more about that at the end of the post. As I instructed earlier, you just have to keep scrolling, scrolling, scrolling!
Gavra grabbed the MBIP camera and took a shot of me, Michelle and Erika...
PJ and Michelle—a portrait of two pretty sisters!
Here’s Gavra with her boyfriend Tim. Tim has a High Strung t-shirt on. The High Strung are a band his brother manages and you can read more about them on their facecrack page.
Alright, it’s cheeseburger time! Here’s Todd serving up this week’s Saturday Night Cheeseburger!
Holy shitballs, this looks like one of the best cheeseburgers of all time!
Here I am digging into it and it’s one of the best cheeseburgers I’ve ever sunk my choppers into! You can read more about it in the review below, but thanks to Todd for cooking up one tasty cheeseburger!
Burp! I’ll tell you a little secret about the MBIP blog, people always ask me why I don’t weigh 400 pounds with all the food I eat here, but I usually just have a little bit of the meal and get the rest to go for the next couple of days. I love to eat, I just don’t like big portions. But this burger was so delicious, that outside of a small sliver I gave to Tim, I ate the entire burger!
And for dessert, Todd serves up a second 40 ouncer, complete with a brown bag!
I wandered back inside and met Trudy, who was Todd’s neighbor when he was living in West Peoria. She told me she had just discovered the MBIP blog and was checking it out the other day. Always love to hear that!
We started playing a word game and it was a lot of fun and a lot of...
Laughs as you can see from The Besties and PJ cracking up on the couch!
Cheers to Todd and Michelle for throwing such a fun patio party, I had a blast and it was great to see everyone! And we’ll see you all tomorrow!
My Cheeseburger
Todd served up one of the best cheeseburgers I’ve ever had in my life and if you’ve been following my blogs for the past five years, you know I’ve eaten a lot of cheeseburgers!
The burger itself was a combination of a half pound of high grade ground beef, crumbled goat cheese, egg, ground salt cured pork, Kroger brand hamburger grilling spice, a pinch of garlic, Worcestershire and barbecue sauce all mixed together. It was grilled to perfection and topped off with Provolone and Colby-Jack cheese, mustard, orange bell peppers, onions and fresh Kale from Michelle’s garden. It was then placed inside of a bakery fresh bun and adjectives cannot describe how great and tasty it was!
Cheeseburger Rating
Four Wimpy’s! Thanks to Todd for making such a great cheeseburger and to him and Michelle for such a fun party! I had a blast!

Bonus Photos From Todd!
Todd took a couple of photos from the morning after the party and sent them to the MBIP World Headquarters. Here’s my 40 ouncer, still in the brown bag standing tall and proud on the patio!
And here’s the elusive Peeta who kept shying away from the MBIP camera! Looking handsome there, Peeta!
