Last week when we visited the Friendly Valley Tap I got the following comment on facecrack from Randall Emert, Sr:
I replied:
And so it’s off we go!
The MBIP Mobile is traveling towards Farmington Road at a a blazing 30 MPH.
We have arrived, let's go in and see what's shaking at The Trolley.
As we enter, I spy a familiar face behind the bar...
It's Jimmy, the friendly bartender serving up the first beer of the evening! I asked him about the history of the Trolley and he pointed me towards the signage on the wall...
Let's go take a look...
There's The Trolley back in the day when it was an official trolley on Farmington Road.
Here's another photo of the place as it became the Toonerville Trolley.
As I gazed at the back room, I saw yet another blast from the past...
Jimmy told me that this sign goes back to when The Trolley first opened back in 1932. Lots of history in here!
Right after I took that picture I ran into Gavra who's here with her childhood pal, Curl. Gavra's going to be playing some music soon at The Tartan Inn, so stay tuned for that.
And here's MBIP pal and semi-regular, Michelle with Curl. Michelle told me that everyone was outside, so it's off we go to the Trolley's beer garden.
It rained like crazy earlier, but now it's a perfect night for a few beers out here in the garden, let's see who's at the table.
There's Todd and Michelle, who've been working on a house that should have an open house party down the road, as always, stay tuned for that!
Good Brad is here and whenever you have Good Brad, you must have....
Bad Brad to equalize the Karmic Equation in the room. That's just the way it is.
Feets don't fail me now!
I can't reveal who's tootsie's these are or Michelle would be very mad at me, so it's a secret.
Fuzzy crush list alert!
Time for a game of bags. It's Bad Brad and Gavra versus...
Curl and Michelle. As you can see, this is quite a large area for the game.
Michelle let's loose with a winning pitch...
Curl adds a gangsta mix to the game. You go, Curl!
Bad Brad and Gavra are in motion and adding to the excitement for the evening.
In the end, Michelle and Curl lost, so they must touch dirt for their sins. That's just the way it goes. Thanks to everyone for hanging out and for the good times at The Trolley! We'll see you all tomorrow and hey...let's be careful out there!
