We haven’t experienced any live music on this tour yet and I know they have live music every Thursday at Tartan Inn and I still have money from Brian Rambke’s generous donation for another Uber ride!
So let’s order an Uber and hit the road to West Peoria and the Tartan Inn!

Bar Number Six: Tartan Inn • Thursday, January 15, 2026
This is Colby who was our friendly Uber driver to the Tartan Inn. Great to meet him and he was a fantastic driver!
Here we are at the Tartan Inn. There’s no lit-up sign out here, but I’ve been here plenty of times, so I know this is the place!
Let’s go inside and start our sixth night of this 365 bar crawl at the Tartan Inn in West Peoria!
There’s the bar, let’s go up and get the first beer of the evening in here!
Dan was the friendly bartender on duty and he said he enjoys reading the MBIP blog, always love to hear that!
There’s the bar in all of its glory!
They have a great selection of beers on tap and there’s the drink specials available below them.
Bill Cosby invites you to try out a Puddin’ Shot. Hey, hey, hey!
I told you there was live music here tonight and here it is. That’s Emily How onstage singing and playing songs with her acoustic guitar.
She’s a fabulous singer and performer and here’s a link to her online presence. Check her out, you will enjoy her wonderful songs and her musical talents!
A crowd was starting to turn up for the show!
There’s Neely and J.J. at a table up front and Evan at the bar. Evan hosts shows at his Rage Club and you can check out upcoming shows and photos from there by clicking here.
Here’s another angle of the bar and there’s Adam who was seated at the bar. Adam and I met a while back at The Fieldhouse Bar, which is sadly closed now. Great to see him again!
There’s a sparkly flying pig up near the ceiling, a Tartan Inn sign and Pride t-shirts for sale.
Check out the Cubs memorabilia, there’s a tub of ice cold beer behind the bar and every Sunday the Grill ‘Em All truck is here serving up delicious food!
Emily put on a fantastic live show and you need to check out her YouTube page and Spotify.
I called for my Uber and took a bathroom break before it arrived. That poster cracked me up and check out the Acme sticker on the mirror! Nice!
Here’s the Uber ride home and it snowed out. Ugh, come on spring!
See you all tomorrow from another bar!

Since I took an Uber, I enjoyed four bottles of ice cold Budweiser at the Tartan Inn! Thanks to bartender Dan for serving them up!
