I did a Google search for “Peoria snacks” and a link to a Reddit page came up and here it is.

Okay, first off, I love the phrase, “bomb ass snack shops!”

And I’ve been meaning to check out that Asian Market for a long time now, but I just never have gotten around to it. Well, today is that day! Off we go!

Here we are at the Fresh Asian Market on University Street. I’ve passed by this place for years and always wanted to stop in and check it out.

Well, there’s no time like now, let’s go inside and take a look around.

It’s very nice in here and bigger than I expected.

There’s a frozen food section, fresh produce and even non-food items for sale in here.

I just found the snack aisle and this place is loaded with snack items I have never seen before in my life! We’ve hit the jackpot here!

And here’s another aisle with even more snacks loaded onto the shelves! This place is a snackers paradise!

I chose my snacks for today and checked out and paid up front at this register.

And now through the magic of these here interwebs, we’re back at the snack tasting area in MBIP World Headquarters.

I got four snack items and let’s sample them now!

The first item is Turtle Chips and I have to wonder if my friend Bill Molleck gets a royalty from this snack? (If you know, you know…)

These are crispy treats sprinkled with sugar and they have a subtle chocolate flavor to them. A nice and light snack item!

Next up is Khao Shong Coated Peanuts.

These are definitely a nutty, nutty snack and very satisfying.

Next up is the Yan Yan Cracker Stick and Chocolate Dip snack.

This was a nice mix of savory salted cracker sticks and sweet chocolate dip, but my only complaint here is that I ran out of chocolate dip with all of these remaining sticks left over.

Time for the sad trombone…Waah, waah, waah, waah.
